Grilinctus Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough. It cures all types of cough, cold .It also provides relief from whooping cough, dry cough, pertussis, antitussive, common cold, runny nose, bronchitis etc.
Grilinctus Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, Grilinctus Syrup 100 ml is not recommended for children below 12 years of age or be affected by this medicine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Grilinctus Syrup 100 ml.
Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease.

Grilinctus Syrup is a combination of four drugs, namely: Dextromethorphan, Chlorpheniramine, Guaiphenesin and Ammonium chloride.
Dextromethorphan belongs to the class of cough suppressants that decrease the urge to cough. Cough is a sudden, forceful expulsion of air that helps clear any mucus or irritant in the throat or airways. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that provide relief from symptoms of allergy such as sneezing, stuffy/runny nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and congestion or stiffness. Guaifenesin and Ammonium chloride belongs to the class of irritants and expectorants that works by irritating the airways which increase the production of respiratory tract fluids and decrease the stickiness of mucus that can be coughed out easily. Together, Grilinctus Syrup helps in clearing the respiratory tract from cough for easy breathing.
This medicine is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor.
